2024-2025 FOCUS Missionaries

The mission at FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) is simple: Make disciples for Christ. It begins by inviting people into a relationship with Jesus in the Catholic Church. Then, offering accompaniment with them along their journey. Finally, equipping them to share the Faith with others too. FOCUS serves college campuses and parish communities across the United States and around the world.

Joe Saladino

​Hello all! My name is Joe Saladino and I am a first-year missionary from New York. I studied at WPI and graduated with my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering! I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, reading, and listening to music! I look forward to meeting you!

Elena Niese

Hello everyone! My name is Elena Niese and I am so excited to be serving in my third year as a FOCUS missionary at CCSU! Originally from northwest Ohio, I got my degree in English education at the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!) before serving 2 years as a missionary at the Coast Guard Academy. Some fun facts about me: I grew up on a farm, I have a twin sister, and in my free time, I love to cook, read, sing and play piano!
