St. Francis Catholic exists to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and build up the next generation of evangelical Catholics through the means of affirmative orthodoxy, intellectual formation, liturgical beauty, and rich devotion.

Affirmative Orthodoxy

Affirmative Orthodoxy is the joyful proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in its entirety.  The Gospel and the traditional teaching of the church are not burdens or hindrances to our freedom, but rather it is in God alone that true freedom is found.

Intellectual Formation

Intellectual Formation seeks to build a foundation for the life long following of Jesus Christ through a sustained encounter with the truths of the Catholic faith.  In a world where more and more people are dismissive of or even hostile toward the teachings of the Catholic Church the next generation of Catholics need to know how to spread and defend the richness of the Catholic intellectual tradition.

Liturgical Beauty

St. Francis seeks to provide an authentic experience of the full beauty of Catholic worship. In utilizing a great breadth of the musical patrimony of the Church (including repertoire such as Gregorian chant, Renaissance polyphony and traditional English hymnody), St. Francis evangelizes through not only the high aesthetic quality of the music, but also the theology taught in the poetry of the musical texts. All liturgies are celebrated with appropriate solemnity, in full keeping with the prescriptions of the Church, so that the sacraments at St. Francis are truly an expression of the universal prayer of the Church.

Rich Devotion

The Catholic faith has a rich devotional life which is encouraged and promoted as part of the life of St. Francis Catholic.  Through daily recitation of the Rosary, Eucharistic adoration, veneration of the saints, and other similar devotions the life of faith is nourished and the entire communion of saints participates in the up-building of the local community.
