The Rev. Michael T. Casey was born and raised in Waterbury, CT. He is a graduate of St. Charles Borromeo College Seminary in Philadelphia and the Pontifical North American College in Rome. Fr. Casey was ordained a priest on May 11, 2013 and the following year remained in Rome to complete a license in moral theology.
Since his return home, Fr. Casey has served at St. James Parish in Manchester, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Waterbury, and most recently at the Cathedral of St. Joseph in Hartford. In January of 2018, he assumed the role of Director of Vocations for the Archdiocese of Hartford, which he will hold in addition to his duties as pastor of St. Francis of Assisi and chaplain to Central Connecticut State University.
