What is Life Teen?

Life Teen is a youth ministry geared exclusively towards teenagers, in their journey for Christ and His heart. This ministry strengthens their faith like no other, as they dive deep into Catholicism and its truth. Life Teen includes a Mass in which teens can particularly get involved with, along with a lesson and games to wrap up the night. Camaraderie is key in getting to know not only one another, but our Lord as well. Let’s get each other to heaven in this life, and let’s get started with our teenagers. Welcome to Life Teen!

Brittany Larese
​Youth Minister

Brittany Larese, the youth minister of our Life Teen Program, is very excited to get started in this ministry. She is eager to get know the teenagers and their hearts, in regards to meeting them where they are at, in their relationships with the Lord. She cannot wait to see what the future will hold for these teens, especially when it comes to contributing to parish life, here at St. Francis

Bridget Scott

Bridget Scott is thrilled to be involved with St Francis' LifeTeen program!  A lifelong musician, Bridget has been a Music teacher for the past few years at a Catholic grade school in Providence, RI, where she also taught Confirmation classes. She just returned to her home state of CT this summer to continue her education. Bridget is thankful for the Crossroads 4 Christ community that introduced her to the lovely parish of St Francis. In her free time, Bridget enjoys playing tennis, collecting random instruments, and laughing a bit too loud.

Marissa Jedzniak

Marissa Jedziniak is from East Hampton, CT and she is currently a Sophomore at Central Connecticut State University.  She is a music education major with a concentration in French horn and is also a part of the honors program. In her free time, she likes to play volleyball and tennis as well as run. She got involved with Life Teen because she participated in it when she was a teen and wanted to help other teens become closer to their faith. She hopes that all teens who join Life Teen will be able to grow closer to God and have a community that they can go to and be a part of.

Chris Delgado

Chis Delgado is currently a freshman at Central Connecticut State University. He is majoring in Psychology and aspires to become a neuropsychologist. When Chris gets a chance, he enjoys being outdoors fishing and camping. He loves sports, specifically soccer and basketball. His favorite board games are chess and backgammon. Chris has joined Life Teen to serve Jesus and to bring more youth into the Church so that they can encounter the Father in Heaven.

Elizabeth Darragjati

Her name is Elizabeth, but you can call her Lizz if you’d like. She is currently a third year student at The Catholic University of America, studying Social Work and Spanish. Lizz is passionate about self development coaching (with a focus on the confidence and positive empowerment of young women) and she is starting a podcast very soon! She loves God, and she desires to live out Jesus’s mission everyday!
